"Subscription Was More Hassle Than Help"
The subscription sounded useful at first. But it ended up being more annoying than just buying in store. I had to click around too much to make changes. It wasn’t very clear. Skipping or changing a delivery should be simple. Not a whole task every time. I canceled in the end. It just didn’t feel convenient for me.

"Discounts never worked for me"
I tried to use the welcome discount, but it kept saying it wasn’t valid even though the banner was still showing on the site. Then another promo appeared at checkout, but as soon as I signed in, it just vanished.
it felt a bit misleading. I ended up spending too much time chasing a few pounds off, and by the end I just felt frustrated and gave up.

I was just trying to buy some razors, but the checkout kept freezing like a useless piece of crap and then kept dumping me back in the cart. To make it even more annoying, my discount code vanished too. It took way longer than it should’ve, and after dealing with that dumb mess for a while, I just gave up. Crappy experience overall.

"The site was kind of a hassle..."
I tried using Gillette Venus and honestly... it got frustrating fast. The pages were loading slowly for me, and finding the right razor or refill was way more confusing than I expected. I kept clicking through menus that seemed to send me in circles, just to check basic info. It didn’t feel smooth at all... I ended up giving up and looking somewhere else.

I was hoping this razor would glide a little better, but the head barely moves when I use it. It kept catching at weird angles, especially around my knees, and I ended up with a few nicks. it just left me feeling frustrated and a little disappointed.

I went on gillettevenus.com to grab my usual Venus razor blades, and the site was easy enough to use, but almost everything I actually wanted was out of stock.
I checked back a couple of times because I figured maybe I just caught it at a bad moment, but nope, still the same. It’s weird because the products are all there looking available, except you can’t actually buy them, which is frustrating.
I still like the Venus blades and would probably order from the site again, but I ended up buying somewhere else this time. It’s convenient in theory, just not very useful when the basic stuff isn’t there.

I ordered this from gillettevenus.com and at first it looked totally fine, so I figured it would be an easy everyday razor. But the moisture strip was disappointing for me.
After maybe one shave, it already felt like it had dried out, and then the razor started dragging instead of gliding. My legs felt itchy afterward, not smooth like I was expecting.
I did reach out about it, and support basically said something like, “results can vary depending on skin type and use,” which I get, but for the price I expected it to last longer. I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

"Not terrible, but somehow I still struggled"
The site is okay for basic browsing, but of course I managed to hit the slow parts when I was just trying to find razor refills. It took me longer than it probably should have, and I felt like the menus weren’t doing me any favors. The pages look nice enough, so I’ll give them that, but I wish everything was laid out more simply. Checkout worked in the end and nothing major went wrong, but it still felt a little clunky, like I had to work harder than I should just to place an order

"Didn’t work well on my coarse leg hair"
I really wanted this razor to work, but it just wasn’t a good match for my leg hair. My hair is on the coarser side, so I need something that can actually cut smoothly without pulling, and this kept tugging as I shaved. It also missed random patches, so I had to keep going over the same spots, which probably made my skin even more irritated. Afterward I ended up with bumps, which is exactly what I try to avoid when shaving. Maybe it works better for finer hair, but for me it was uncomfortable and didn’t give a clean shave. I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Not the closest shave"
I still felt stubbly right after using it, which was disappointing... I expected a smoother shave but it just didn’t really get close enough for me. Wouldn’t say it’s worth it

"Grip gets way too slippery when wet"
I really wanted this to work, but the handle grip is just bad. The second it gets wet, it turns slippery, which is kind of ridiculous for something you’re supposed to use in the shower. I kept losing control of it, i got tired of having to explain that the grip is the problem, not how I’m holding it. For the price, I expected much better. I ended up cutting myself twice, so I definitely won’t be buying this again.

It looks decent overall, but when I actually held it, the grip felt kind of strange. The design is fine, not amazing or anything. Maybe it just depends on what you're used to

"Canceling took way more effort than I expected"
I tried to cancel my subscription, all I really remember is how annoying it felt. I couldn’t tell you every single step now, but I do remember clicking around more than I should’ve had to and feeling like the site kept nudging me to stay instead of just letting me cancel.
I did eventually get it taken care of, but the whole thing left me frustrated. Maybe some parts were fine and I’ve blocked them out, but the part that stuck with me is that canceling felt like a chore. I don’t see myself signing up again.

"Absolutely not for my sensitive skin"
I really wanted to love this razor, but my sensitive skin said absolutely not. I used shaving gel and took my time, and still my legs ended up itchy with those tiny red bumps that are basically guaranteed to ruin the whole experience for me.
It does get a reasonably close shave, I’ll give it that, but the irritation is 100% not worth it in my case. I’m sure it might be fine for someone with normal skin, but for me, there is no chance I’m buying it again.

"Dulled faster than I expected"
These blades were okay at first, but they really didn’t last long for me. I only got a few shaves out of them before they started feeling dull. Maybe they’d be fine if you don’t shave often or have lighter hair, but for my routine, they wore out way too fast.

I really wanted this to work, but it nicked my legs pretty much every single time I used it!!! Super frustrating, especially when you're just trying to get a quick shave and end up with little cuts everywhere!!!

I ordered replacement blades from gillettevenus.com thinking they’d work with my Venus handle, but they don’t fit at all. It’s frustrating because I double-checked as best I could before buying, and I don’t like taking chances on products that might not be compatible. Now I’m stuck with blades I can’t use, which feels like a waste of money and time.

"Not as good as it used to be"

"I just don’t trust them anymore"
The whole brand just feels kind of shady to me now. I keep getting the same bad feeling every time I deal with them, like something’s just off. It’s hard to trust a company when it keeps feeling like they’re not being upfront. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but again and again, it just feels shady...
